“Our history”
La Petite Épicerie Saigon was founded in Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, in 2013 by a group of young French food lovers.
Their passion was to capture the local flavors of Vietnam’s tropical south, well known for its abundance of fresh, sweet fruits and flavorful spices, in premium products with a French twist.

We want to bring you the best taste experience that Southern Vietnam, Indochina, in many ways a food lovers paradise, has to offer.
South Vietnam is historically renown as the breadbasket of Indochina, with the Mekong delta, “a biological treasure trove”, encompassing a large part of southern Vietnam and Cambodia.

In order to bring you the best taste experience that Southern Vietnam, Indochina, has to offer we only use local produce from across southern Vietnam.
All our ingredients are carefully selected from local producers and we follow strict international standards, HACCP, to ensure the best product.

We pride ourselves with a skilled and loyal workforce that thoroughly enjoys making our own products.
We are proud of our products and it would not be an exaggeration to say that our production team “cook with their hearts”.

“A big country kitchen”
That is why, our facility on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, is very much a large country kitchen.
As we have grown, we have chosen not to industrialize our production, but rather add more preparation and cooking stations, with more dedicated colleagues, to make sure that we keep the same home cooked quality we are renown for.

We are, besides being accredited in accordance with all local Vietnamese food safety requirements also HACCP certified, the globally recognized food safety system is designed to identify and control any hazards that may occur in the food production process and prevent their occurrence, ensuring that food is safe to eat and that consumers are protected.
